Makeup Tuesday – Partridgeberry with a twist

Bobby is home, Bobby is home! We are all so excited to welcome Bobby home to Newfoundland. There is a lot of changes on the horizon for us all… me and Jason (and Klara of course) are moving back to Sweden in October and Bobby is moving back here (he is “half moved” right now… him and the cats are here, but his furniture is still in Toronto waiting for the movers). I will fill you in more on all the details soon, but for now… let me show you the makeup he applied on me yesterday! 🙂

First he applied Partridgeberry on the eyelid and in the crease, and then Valhalla on the outer corner and up in the crease. Blend the two together. Then he applied Magic Pony on the inner corner of the eye and layered it on top of Partridgeberry half way out. He applied Valhalla again as an eyeliner both along the top and bottom lashes, and last he applied Cirrostratus under the eyebrow and blended it down in the crease to smooth any edges.

Blue and Gold

I just wanted to show you a pic of my nails right now! I am wearing an aqua/blue on all nails except one on each hand (index finger on my left hand and ring finger on my right) where I applied a glittery gold Sally Hansen – Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips.

Makeup Monday – Elizabeth

This Monday we are showing you a look that a customer of ours, and dear friend of me, sent me! I love this look. It’s so soft and flattering. Let me show you the pictures first, and then we’ll let her tell us how she did it! You can click on the image to enlarge it.

Here is how Elizabeth did it:
First, I ‘primed’ my eyelids with “Right On”, from lashline to eyebrow.
I put “Granite” from lashline to eyebrow, with a little more saturation on the lid.
Then “Nancy Oh” in the crease and the outer-third of the eyelid.
Finally, I spritzed “Miss Fix-it” on my angled brush then dipped in “Oh Me Nerves!” and pressed a thin-but-dark line right along my top lashline.
I brushed on some of my favourite mascara, and, Voila!
(As always, I used my angled brush and “Blow Me Down” to fill in my sparse eyebrows!)

I love love love this look! Thanks so much Elizabeth!! 🙂
And if you have anything you want to share, please send me an email. You will be handsomely rewarded for your troubles!

To pick up the shadows in this look, we have collected them all in one place for your convenience 🙂 Click here!

As always, leave a comment on this page for a chance to win some Sminks! One of the comments will be randomly selected, and the winner gets three eyeshadows: Right On, Granite and Nancy Oh.

Winner last week was post number 6; Melissa Mackey. Congratulations Melissa!! 🙂
