Fabulous Friday – Pink Cotton Candy Shower Sundae

Friday again, and that means Fabulous Friday of course! This week we chose a product that has been on our top lists for years and years: Pink Cotton Candy Shower Sundae! It even made it on’s list of top sellers a while ago (and they have many brands to choose from! :))

The scent consists of sweet notes of cotton candy, vanilla and caramel mixed with bottom notes of fig leaves and musk. It’s young and flirty but certainly not childish! The texture of our Shower Sundaes is another thing to love! So thick and fluffy, it really feels like stepping into the shower with a sundae in hand. If it is hot, you could actually pop your Shower Sundae in the fridge between use so it IS cold as a sundae when you use it. It’s quite a treat!

If you want to try the Pink Cotton Candy Shower Sundae (or stock up if it’s already a favorite), this is the time to do it! This weekend you will get 25% off! Find it here.
If you have a favourite product you want to share with the rest of our Tvål family, email me a little write up about it (why you like it, how you use it, etc). If I choose your write up for a Fabulous Friday newsletter, I will send you a $30 gift certificate to use online or in one of our shops. Send your letter to:
And the Review winner this week was Jillian! She wrote a review on our Solid Shampoo:
I use “soft” -smells delicious, tames my unruly curls, and lasts a looooong time! We only have one shower rack, so space is a great commodity – solid shampoos are perfect space savers… not to mention it means having one less bottle to recycle. Finally, I love how easy solid shampoos are for travel. No leaky bottles, no mess -just put it in a baggie (even wrap it in a tissue!) and take it anywhere! Great product -thank you!!!!
We pick a new winner every week, who gets 150 points added to their account (that means $15 to shop for!), so submit your reviews now before you forget! It could be well worth your time :)

Makeup Monday – Soft and Natural

This week we chose colours that are soft, natural and flattering on everyone! We started out with Little Heart’s Ease all over the lid, up in the crease and lightly brushed beneath the eye as well. Then we used Right On, a very soft peach, between the crease and eyebrow and smudged the two colours together so there are no sharp lines. We didn’t apply mascara this time, just to show you more of the eyelid, but you can use as much as your heart desires of course! 🙂

Little Heart’s Ease            Right On!

Happy Monday!!

Friday, I’m in love (with Buddha Eye Cream)

I know, that was a really lame title! It’s just that every time I write “Friday” that song pops up in my head. I was a really big The Cure fan you know. I saw them in Stockholm waaaay back in 1992! 🙂 Anyway.. getting off topic! It’s Friday, and that means Fabulous Friday! This week I picked Buddha Eye Cream!
When we worked on the recipe for Buddha Eye Cream we basically started out by putting all the good stuff we knew of in one formula and then tweaked until the texture was right. It has cucumber extract to cool and tone, jojoba oil and olive squalane to hydrate and shea butter to protect. Among other things! It sinks in right away and will leave your skin plump, fresh and hydrated.
Try this tip for an extra firming treatment: Apply generously under the eye and on the outer corner of the eye. The trick here is to use more than is absorbed immediately (but of course not too much either… you should still be able to see your skin through the layer of cream). Let it absorb on its own, it should take about 5 minutes. You will feel, and see, a tightening in the skin around your eye. Try it! You’ll love it! 🙂

If you haven’t tried Buddha Eye Cream yet, or if you want to stock up, this is the time to do it! Throughout this weekend you’ll get 25% off!

Makeup Monday – Golden salmon

Happy Monday! This week we are taking inspiration from the sea. Or what LIVES in the sea 🙂 First we applied Atlantic Salmon all over the lid. Then we applied Golden Bay in the inner corner of the eye and smudged it towards the middle of the eye lid. Last a bit of Golden Bay under the eyebrow and down to Atlantic salmon, and smudge the two colours together. This combination would look amazing on blue eyes, and as you can see it’s not to shabby on green or brown either 🙂

Friday already…

Wow how time flies… I don’t know how it happens, the weeks are just flying by! It’s Monday, I blink, and then it’s Friday! Scary stuff. Anyways, the point is: It’s Friday! We have picked a winner among our reviews who got 150 points to spend (worth $15) and we have a new Fabulous Friday deal!

The Fabulous Friday deal this weekend is for our Chocolate Mint Mousse Skin Smoothie. This scent was in the original lineup of Skin Smoothies, from waaaay back (2004 to be exact). We have always loved it, but now we love it even more! We have tweaked it ever so slightly with a light touch of musk. This musk is barely noticeable, it just makes the whole blend a little more “grown up”. A little sexier! So if you haven’t tried it, or haven’t tried it for a while, this is your chance! This weekend you get 25% off both sizes, and you can get as many as you want!
And the Review winner this week was Heather A. She wrote a review on our Cleansing Milk with Geranium. This is what she said about it: This is one of the best cleansers that I have ever used and I have tried alot of them. It smells great, takes off my makeup and leaves my skin feeling awesome. The best part is that it removes mascara even water proof. I will keep using this product forever. Thank you.

We pick a new winner every week, so submit your reviews now before you forget! It could be well worth your time 🙂
